Full hydraulic steering kit for M37 and variants
Our hydraulic steering retrofit systems consist of: A heavy duty gear box, mounted on a severe duty bracket built from 5/8†1018 cold roll steel Read More... which utilizes the same frame rail mounting holes as the original manual box. A double “D†shaft and two u-joints connect the box input shaft to the steering column shaft. The lower end of the column tube has a heavy bronze bushing which centers the shaft in the tube and offers lower end support for the tube. A bracket and clamp assembly is provided to hold the shaft tube assembly in place at the lower end. A ball bearing installed in the firewall provides support for the column shaft where it extends outward from the cab. A custom pump bracket is provided for attaching the hydraulic pump to the engine. A custom machined belt pulley system makes drive belt alignment quick and easy. Hydraulic hose fittings are supplied, we typically do not supply hoses as you may need to custom design adequate hose routing. Once you have chosen a proper route for your hoses, with fittings in place, you can get a precise hose length measurement, hose can be obtained from a local supplier, who will also be able to crimp the fittings for you. All the necessary grade 8 bolts and hardware are supplied in the kit. Also included is a horn switch and installation manual. Please call or email for current pricing....Show Less
Upgraded power steering system for M37 with the stock 230 engine
Design changes include a longer column shaft to eliminate u-joint interference with fender slot,Read More... an adjustable pump mount bracket, a newly designed, infinitely adjustable top drag link, enables precise centering of gear box, steering wheel location, and tighter, more precise drag link setup. If your idler arm & bracket is worn at the pin I bushing area, or has excessive end play between the arm & bracket; we can rebuild this assembly for you which includes build up & machining the arm hub and bracket bosses to eliminate end play. Wear on these components is a major cause of vehicle wandering on the road. This system also works on our Cummins powered trucks, but uses a different pump which is a direct drive design....Show Less
Our custom designed disc system is applicable to POWER WAGON, M37 / all variants, and many of the WC and earlier military models. It has become nearly impossible to find good brake drums. Most are either warped or will be too thin for service after turning a new lining contact surface. The trucks we build with upgrades need a top notch, reliable brake system. It has become highly problematic to build a good system with original components because of the situation with serviceable drum availability. Read More...
This prompted us to design and build an easy to install disc brake conversion kit for use on our rebuilt trucks. Once our custom kit components are in place, maintenance is easy and normal wear parts are readily available from any local auto parts supply houses. We have disc kits currently in stock and ready to ship. Our custom disc kits are 100% made in America, by local manufacturers and in our shop, from American made materials. Components are laser cut, Blanchard ground perfectly flat, and then CNC machined to exact fit standards. Core hubs go through initial cleaning, are blasted to remove rust, paint, get phosphate treatment, and receive new US made inner and outer bearing cups, are run on a special fixture to insure a true running center, and machined to accept the new flange for rotor mounting. The new rotor flange is pressed on the hub and welded on both sides. The final CNC process faces the rotor flange mounting surface and center for a true fit.
A custom disc brake axle parts kit includes: 2 rebuilt hubs, 1 left and 1 right caliper bracket, 2 rim spacers, grade 8 fastener hardware packages, and illustrated installation guide. One axle kit does one axle (2-wheels), if you are doing a 4-wheel conversion, two axle kits are required. All the normal wear components such as hub bearing cones and oil seals, calipers, rotors, pads, hoses, etc. are locally available at NAPA. A part number listing for top quality NAPA components to complete your installation can be found on page one of the installation manual. Obtaining heavy components such as rotors, calipers, and pads locally results in saving considerable $$ on shipping cost, so we give you that option. However if you desire, we can ship everything you need complete. If you have thought about installing a dual circuit fluid system, a power booster, or replacing all those old hard lines that likely have interior rust, now is the time to get all that taken care of while your new disc system is going into place....Show Less

This one as shown is set up to work with the original 230 engine and original pedals. This also has a vacuum storage reservoir which enables several boosted brake applications without engine vacuum. The fire wall mounted fluid reservoir makes it no longer necessary to service the fluid level at the master cylinder. This set up works with the original drum system or our disc brake upgrade.
We are building our own “all aluminum†extreme duty radiators and charge air coolers in house. The one pictured is a combination, one piece unit going into a Power Wagon with an electronic, common rail Cummins diesel. Call for details. 704-474-4683
Wiper system available in either 12 or 24-volt, this system performs great in any weather conditions. The motors are controlled from a single dash mounted switch. The system features 2-speed operation and has an automatic return to park feature that independently brings the blades to rest at the same point each time the switch is turned off. The adjustable arms and blades are extreme heavy duty.
A washer system can be easily added also.
We have designed and built high quality, fully rebuildable, front wheel lock-out hubs for Power Wagon, M37, and WC 3/4 ton models. Made in the USA from all US materials. Housings are CNC machined aluminum and are available with a clear or black anodized coating for protection. All the internals are machined from 4140 alloy and heat treated for durability. We can furnish any spare part for these, although it isn’t likely any would ever be needed. These are built for the long haul right here in North Carolina. Call us for details 704-474-4683
Built using 2.5†diameter tubing; the larger tubing enables faster heat dissipation away from internal engine components. Far less chance of burned exhaust valves; cracked manifold; and other heat related issues. Read More...A larger muffler is used with a custom heat shield to keep the heat away from the passenger side cab floor. Custom band clamps attach the shield to the muffler so the shield is easily transferable to a new muffler. A stainless steel braided flex joint is incorporated just below the manifold to dampen engine movement so stress to the system is not a factor. Tubing is tig welded with stainless steel band clamps used at the muffler for easy disassembly. 3 sections include front section, muffler, and rear section. Heavy duty custom fabricated hangers hold the entire assembly securely in place. All 3 sections have a high heat ceramic coating applied. ...Show Less
Some 3053 and 3053A transmissions used in M35, M35A1, and A2 trucks are simply prone to oil leakage via the input shaft bearing letting oil escape into the flywheel housing where it drips out the weep hole. Oil can also contaminate the clutch disc in some cases.
We have designed and built a sealing package into the front bearing retainer that stops the drip and keeps the oil in the transmission where it belongs. It is an easy upgrade when the transmission is pulled for clutch replacement or at rebuild time.
We have used this front seal design for several years in our rebuilt and upgraded transmissions with outstanding results. Questions Call 704-474-4683
