• The military surplus 1968 model Jeep M715 received a new 130 horsepower 4BTA Cummins diesel engine and Spicer 5-speed fully synchronized overdrive transmission,
• A new Saginaw hydraulic power steering system,
• Dual circuit power boosted brakes,
• All new upgraded 12-volt electrical and lighting systems for both the truck and rear mounted pump and hose reel units.
